After the initial full backup, all future backups are incrementals and backups taken by the BDR-G12 at the block level. Block level backup allows anything written to the hard drive to be captured.

High Availability

The BDR-G12 acts as a standby server either onsite or offsite in the event your current hardware fails. Once you replace or fix that original hardware, a live bare-metal restore to similar or dissimilar hardware can be performed by booting to our included Restore DVD.

The BDR-G12 provides a many to one replication scheme. Transmit backup data from as many as 25 different BDR-G12 appliances to one central unit, providing multiple levels of redundancy and faster recovery points.
